  • Two weekly bridge sessions and regular competitions
  • Members have attended international competitions in Indonesia, Thailand and Singapore

Why have a Bridge Congress?

  • To promote Contract Bridge both locally and internationally (one of the Club’s objectives)
  • To provide an opportunity to compete with players from other countries and elsewhere in Malaysia in a friendly setting
  • To improve players’ skills through the experience
  • To promote Kuching as a destination for bridge players from around the world

History of Kuching Bridge Congress

  • First held in 2009, and has been held annually since
  • Highest number of delegates was 84 in 2011
  • Delegates’ nationalities include : Australian, British, Bruneian, Croatian, Danish, French, Indonesian, NZ, Singaporean
  • Venues used: Sarawak Club, Telang Usan Hotel
